Contribute your voice to the future of Weinland Park!
Weinland Park is part of the University District, which consists of 13 neighborhoods from 5th Avenue north to the Glen Echo Ravine, and from the Olentangy River east to the railroad track just east of Grant Avenue. The City of Columbus Department of Development is partnering with the University Area Commission and other stakeholders to update the University District’s 1996 neighborhood plan, which serves as a road map for future land use, commercial and residential design guidelines, and capital improvements in the district.
The new plan will make a big difference in the shape of our community in the next ten years. A series of public meetings are being scheduled so that residents can give their input. If you want to let the city know which projects and issues should be a priority in the new plan, you have to speak up.
Just check out what residents who attended the first public workshop in September said.
